Reference: SW004923-AM-1 National manufacturing company based in Somerset West, is seeking to employ a Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will be required (but not limited) to: Coordinate labour activities to reach daily production targets Manage absenteeism Manage raw material, work in progress and finished goods Liaise with internal suppliers to achieve daily production targets Drive Quality to achieve zero customer complaints (internal and external) Create and maintain a safe working environment within your area Handle disciplinary activities Train new employees and ensure a multi skilled workforce Requirements include: Production Management Diploma would be advantageous Prior experience of managing a production workforce is essential (/- 20 employees) Basic understanding of production (process flow, WIP, line balancing, bottleneck, productivity, process cost, quality, man/machine/material etc) General understanding of a manufacturing facility (raw material, process, output) Fluent in spoken and written English and Afrikaans Must have own transport
