Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Position: Production Support Engineer (Design) Reporting to: Product Development Manager Purpose: Ensure trial product to full compliance as per Technical File and all design changes are executed accordingly. The successful candidate must be able to perform the following key tasks: % Ownership of design for products under responsibilities. Implement TF & Distribute as per PD road map. Design and create Creo CAD models when required. Create Draft BOMs for created new model coolers. Checking the technical files & conduct design reviews with cross functional teams. Revise drawings as per latest Technical Files & its supplements. Checking of revised drawings to ensure compliance. Conduct and assist with product trial. Support with any design changes required. Qualifications: Min Diploma Degree in Technical / Engineering. Work experience and skills: Minimum 5 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering/Production Support Engineer (Design) Good command in English, both written & spoken Computer literate with expertise in - Auto CAD (heavy user) - Creo (Advanced part modelling, assembly, piping, drawing, sheet metal) Knowledge of plastics and sheet metal parts manufacturing Process. Knowledge in refrigeration system an added advantage (preferable) Behavioral attributes: Possess analytical and problem-solving ability. • Team player, but able to work independently as well. • Mathematical ability and strong computer skills. • Above average organising skills • Ability to communicate with staff of all levels as well as external suppliers. • Deadline oriented
