Reference: TS000005-JL-6A reputable international company specialising in galvanised steel and structural cable systems requires the above to manage the production of goods by ensuring that machines are running smoothly, whilst managing workers on the production floor. Minimum requirements for the role: Minimum 5-7 years’ manufacturing or production experience in a supervisory or related role is essential. Previous working experience within the steel or related industry is essential. Must be computer literate with advanced working knowledge of MS Office. Previous experience using SAGE is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must have strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Email CV to jefftalentsphere.world The successful candidate will be responsible for: Overseeing the preparation and production of materials to meet daily/weekly orders. Managing the distribution, tracking and maintenance of daily production records. Overseeing the interview and hire processes when there are job openings. Supervising and directing staff members of the production floor as well as distributing labour within and between lines to meet daily production requirements. Training, coaching, disciplining and working alongside production employees. Conducting daily production meetings as well as participating in production decisions concerning new product lines. Determining product costs and resource needs by using product specifications and release dates. Establishing and maintaining the production schedule (with support from the Production Scheduler and direction from Team Lead) to meet established release dates, as well as document and improve the production product development process. Overseeing production-related communication flow and coordination between all resources committed to each product. Managing and enforcing company safety protocols.
