Job purpose

To provide comprehensive nursing care and management for the nursing treatment and rehabilitation for all health problems of individuals, groups and communities as a practitioner.

Responsibilities include not limited to :

To provide a comprehensive primary health care services to the community including TB/HIV care, mother and child services, and general check-ups
Be able to implement and monitor various programmes
Provide reproductive health exams and education
Provide pre-natal and post-natal services
Improve health of the community through health education
To implement health and safety best practice and monitor trends
To liaise with the healthcare manager and other healthcare organisations

Requirements (non-negotiable)

Matric
Diploma in Nursing/B.Curr
Dispensing License
Qualified Professional nurse /Midwifery Nurse
3-5 Years experience as a professional nurse working in community healthcare or midwifery
