This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with a reputable company and contribute to their success. Responsibilities Doing estimates Measuring quantities from plans to compile BOQ's Preparing tender documentation Preparing valuations Preparing variation orders Attending site meetings Contract administration Preparing cost reports Measuring and agreeing final accounts Project management Quality assurance Multi-disciplinary services co-ordination Team co-ordination Oversee projects as needed Liaising with clients and other stakeholders Public facilities building experience, preferably with government projects and knowledge of the South African tender process Requirements BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for Quantity Surveyors (SACQSP) South African citizenship Minimum of 10 years post-Pr QS registration experience Project management qualification or experience is beneficial Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving abilities Ability to manage and prioritize complex tasks Strong verbal and written communication skills Competency in mathematical and accounting principles Proficiency in preparing reports, feasibility studies, and cost analyses Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent construction and general project management skills Willingness to mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors Sound knowledge of building contracts, including JBCC and CIDB standards Benefits Salary: R240K/yr - R650K/yr, salary negotiable Training & Development Performance Bonus Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.
