Program Manufacturing Engineer - Port Elizabeth
Job Description:
Job Requirements:
- Define & set up manufacturing processes
- Create & maintains BOMs, BOPs and routings
- Set-up and maintain master schedule
- Manage CAPEX & tooling budget
- Prepare production trials, IPT, MPT and EMPT
- Apply virtual process development
- Evaluate product designs for manufacturing feasibility
- Drive process FMEA and resulting measures accordingly
- Plan and manage launch costs
- Review customer requirements, drive RFQ/SOR
- Lead problem solving initiatives in managing customer complaints
Job Requirements:
- ND Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience within automotive industry or similar
- Trade certificate an added advantage
- Superior problem-solving abilities
- Excellent project management, analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and SAP
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle all levels within the organisation
- Experience in APQP, SPC, 8D and FMEA
