Programme Manager - Construction Industry - Cape Town Region

RPO Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction company in Cape Townto find a highly skilled Programme Manager to join their team. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple construction projects and ensuring their successful delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to establish project strategies, allocate resources, and monitor project progress. You will be responsible for project planning, risk management, budget control, and ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programme management within the construction industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills, are essential for this role. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 10 years' experience in programme management, preferably in the construction industry Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering large-scale construction projects Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders Experience in budget management and financial control Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient in project management software and tools Flexibility to travel as required Benefits Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact RPO Recruitment for our next career opportunity.
