If you thrive in dynamic environments, excel in project scheduling, and have an innate ability to foresee and mitigate risks, we want you We are seeking a Programme Planner to play a pivotal role in our ambitious renewable energy projects, ensuring seamless coordination, timely delivery, and resource optimization. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) As Programme Planner, you will be at the heart of our project site, collaborating closely with Project Managers to craft realistic Master Project Schedules. Your expertise in MS Projects and Primavera P6 will shine as you develop, execute, and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to best practices. Your proactive problem-solving skills will be crucial in analysing schedules for anomalies, suggesting solutions, and applying Critical Path Methods for effective project management. Your ability to liaise with internal teams and challenge contractors will contribute to the overall success of our projects. The construction site is located in the Northern Cape and focuses on both wind as well as solar projects. What you'll need To start off, a background in renewable energy planning is required along with tertiary backing in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Our client wants you to bring your advanced skills in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6, coupled with a robust understanding of EPC and Construction Contracts. Your ability to perform Earned Value Analyses, assess scope changes, and develop recovery programs will set you apart. Soft skills such as excellent time management, attention to detail, and strong communication will complement your technical prowess. This Fixed Term Contract is for 24-months and all regular site benefits and allowances apply, like accommodation (in Middleburg), food, fuel, and site car to name a few. R&R long weekend runs from Thursday to Tuesday and the travel to and from home is required with own vehicle and at own expense.
