Education:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices within the engineering industry
Proficiency in activity-based costing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Experience with Bill of Materials (BOMs), work in progress (WIP), and managing production costs
Ability to manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) and maintain fixed asset registers
Strong analytical skills to prepare monthly cost reports and implement cost-saving initiatives
Effective communication skills to collaborate with production teams on production lines and stock management
Capability in pricing and costing of products to ensure profitability and competitiveness
