Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage an engine repair job from receipt, stripping repair final assembly and delivery.
  • Ensure all required parts and consumables are quoted and ordered.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and send to clients/customers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation management.
  • Invoice client accurately and on time.
  • Ability to communicate with technicians, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure and achieve deadlines.
  • Work well in a team.
  • Has sober habits.

Requirements

  • Trade certificate: diesel mechanic, diesel fitter or automotive machinist
  • Non-negotiable requirement: Automative Engineering and diesel engine assembly experience.
  • Computer literacy higher than beginner level
  • Moderate to High proficiency in MS Office Windows and Excel
  • Experience with Automotive Quoting or Database Systems will be an advantage.
  • Minimum three years' experience in sourcing parts, preparing quotes, and invoicing.
  • Minimum Two years' experience in job management. In-depth understanding of required engine repair parts
  • Lives in Pretoria region
  • Sales Experience
