Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Join a dynamic and well-established company based in the vibrant city of Cape Town. We are on the lookout for two enthusiastic and talented Project Engineers to become a part of our innovative team As a Project Engineer, you will oversee the installation of various new multi-million-rand machines and technology. You will manage assigned engineering and technical projects, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. You will oversee machine and automation design projects, develop and implement project schedules and forecasts, and coordinate and check engineering deliverables. You will report monthly on project status and change orders, plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the technical and management aspects of projects. You will assist in the preparation of engineering project and machine acquisition proposals, coordinate pricing, estimating, and scoping strategies for proposed projects, and develop and prepare technical specifications. You will also assist in preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits, and designs for projects. You will implement successful engineering and automation projects, communicate extensively with assigned project clients, external customers, and suppliers, both overseas and local, and be involved in new product development and prototyping. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have a degree or diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering. You should also have 1-2 years of working experience in a related role. Proficiency in 3D CAD design using software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks is essential. You should have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be familiar with ISO procedures. Negotiation skills are important, as is the ability to think logically and rationally. High computer literacy, especially in Excel, is required. We are looking for assertive, forthright individuals who are enthusiastic, positive, and self-energized. A strong financial and commercial aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and numeracy skills are also important. Lastly, you should be able to work effectively in a team environment. Negotiable
