Introduction Water Treatment Technologies Description Water Technology company based in Johannesburg has a vacancy for a Junior (less than 2 years' experience) and a Senior (More than 4 years' experience) Project Engineer respectively. The Project Engineer will report to the Engineering manager and will be responsible for all the hands-on work & activities needed to achieve the project objectives and deliverables. These projects can be in-house assembled, externally manufactured systems and trial work. It is the project engineer's responsibility to get the project completed within the constraints of time, cost & quality and handed over to the client and/or internally to the service department. Mechanical or Chemical qualification, and relevant experience in Autocad, Project design and project engineering required. Requirements: Mechanical or Chemical qualification (National Diploma; B-Tech; B-Eng) 1 - 10 years' experience in project engineering/design/management environment Water Treatment experience will be an advantage Own transport and valid driver's license Strong Communication skills Strong Computer literacy (MS Office, MS Projects, Autocad, Inventor) Must be self-motivated Willingness to travel within South African borders and other African countries Duties: Preliminary design & documentation for proposals Detailed design for project execution Planning, executing, monitoring & controlling all activities for projects assigned to them Responsible for all procurement activities Quality Control for Fabrication, Assembly & site installations Responsible for all Logistic activities Responsible for site installation supervision and management Managing commissioning, training & handover Other miscellaneous company activities (Including laboratory/Trial and Service Division support) If you have not heard from us within 3 months of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.
