The Project Financial Manager plays a pivotal role in providing Discretionary Grant Commitments Management for a SETA. This position involves conducting project confirmations, tracing grantees, managing commitments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
National Diploma (NQF 6), bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7), or equivalent in Financial Management, Accounting, or Auditing.
5 years of finance/accounting/auditing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
Proven expertise in project financial management.
Key Outputs, Outcomes, and Success Indicators:
Conducting Discretionary Grants Commitment confirmations
Ensuring accurate and compliant commitment schedules
Tracing Discretionary Grant recipients
Negotiating with SDPs and employers
Maintenance of commitment schedules and financial reporting
Monitoring internal controls and risk management
Implementing and managing the unit’s work plans
