Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating projects by applying governance structures, methodologies, reporting dashboards and relevant project management applications to ensure that project objectives are met. This role manages resources throughout the different project lifecycle stages Manages project prioritisation on departmental and divisional level Liaise with Business stakeholders and potential Technical vendor / development partners to ensure business case and required costing input for the business case is sound. Develop an understanding of MotoVantage business and impacted areas to meet project objectives and compile Project Initiation documentation noting such Setup SharePoint folder structure and manage project deliverables on project folders Define project charter and scope of projects for sign-off with scope changes being adequately managed with formalised change requests and approvals on impacted areas Define stakeholder analysis and sound strategy to manage project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of approved projects Liaise with Architecture role(s) and project stakeholders to ensure impact assessment and completeness of project scope and budget considerations completed. Where assessed impact areas change / result in budget changes revert back to business owner regarding business case update(s) Foster relationships with project stakeholder to ensure project objectives are met and all relevant role players understand their responsibilities to ensure successful project outcome(s) Have an understanding of POPI Act and ensure POPI impact assessments and privacy assessments conducted by the relevant project stakeholders Liaise with Business Analyst role and provide qualitative review input to ensure business and functional requirements are completely documented in line with approved project scope Define a granular project management plan using tools to manage delivery timelines within cost, time and qualitative project considerations Assist with Technical Vendor contractual arrangements and clearly defined statement of work in relation to project defined scope Liaise with Business Analyst role and provide qualitative review input to ensure business processes are updated in line with approved project scope Define and manage the risks for the project to ensure successful delivery of the project. Articulate and manage any issues that detracts project delivery with project sponsor(s) and business owners to assist with timely decision making and corrective actions Ongoing management and tracking of project actions, issues, risks, budget vs. actual costings, supplier invoice management and payments, change requests in line with the overall project management plan and timelines Liaise with Testing Manager role and provide qualitative review input to ensure business testing strategy, plan and defined test cases are complete and accurate to ensure successful delivery of project scope Define a detailed production roll-out plan and ensure pilot roll-out included in project timelines Liaise with relevant IT role(s) and Governance forums to ensure necessary governance and CAB approvals / FRG Governance approvals are met for production release and project go-live. Ensure compliance with FRG standards and PDLC governance considerations Requirements: Must be PMP certified 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in Financial or banking industry Strong Waterfall and Agile experience required Job Details Application Closing Date 07/03/24 All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group’s Employment Equity plan.
