My client is seeking a skilled Project Manager, with extensive experience in the steel industry, to oversee various projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of our projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to drive project progress and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established targets. Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols and quality standards throughout all project phases. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization to enhance project efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in the steel industry, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, materials, and industry best practices. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize competing demands. PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
