Our Client, a National Fund Administrator is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a dynamic Project Manager on a 12months Fixed-contract basis for their Offices based in Johannesburg-north, Gauteng (R580K R600K per annum).
MAIN PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE:
- To play a critical part in co-ordinating and overseeing the process re-engineering initiatives, governance implementation, change management and general projects between the Company and the appointed business partners.
- To manage a project focused on optimizing existing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. It will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to drive a successful process transformation.
- To deliver all projects on time, and within budget.
KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- At minimum a Diploma/Degree in Project Management ESSENTIAL
- At least 5 years proven track record in experience in project management, specifically in process re-engineering.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies ESSENTIAL
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify process inefficiencies.
- Excellent communication,
- Negotiation, and stakeholder management skills ESSENTIAL
- Possess financial acumen and budget skills.
- Must be a problem solver with strong decision-making abilities.
- Must be able to work under pressure, maintain strong ethics and adapt to the dynamics of a diverse workforce.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a valid drivers licence.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to BPR methodologies and best practices.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Process Analysis and Mapping:
- Coordinate process analysis efforts, identifying pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Create process maps (as-is and to-be) to visualize current and future workflows in conjunction with the appointed business partner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and gather user stories.
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Work closely with business partners, process owners, and technology teams to design innovative solutions.
- Evaluate technology options and recommend tools or systems to support process enhancements.
- Facilitate solution vetting and selection.
Change Management:
- Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
- Prepare change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
- Address resistance and promote buy-in from all stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
- Establish quality standards for re-engineered processes.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and gather feedback for further refinements.
- Relationship management with clients and key stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation pack.
