We are looking to hire a Project Manager / Practice Lead, the Functional Consultant will be responsible for understanding client requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of software applications. This role involves working closely with clients to analyze their business processes, provide expertise in system configuration, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs.
What you’ll do:
Client Engagement:
- Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions with clients.
- Understand and document client business processes and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Solution Design:
- Analyze client requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Develop functional specifications and system design documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and effective.
Implementation:
- Configure and customize software applications according to client requirements.
- Lead testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption.
Project Management:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Contribute to the development of internal methodologies and tools.
Your expertise:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of successful software implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant software applications and technologies (e.g., ERP, CRM, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with specific software platforms relevant to the company’s offerings.
- Professional certifications in relevant areas (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
- Advanced knowledge of business process modeling and re-engineering.
