Responsibilities : System Design for Access Control, CCTV & Fire Detection Systems. Compiling of Check Sheets in excel format. Reading & understanding site plans for device location, able to quantify drawings against BOQ. Cabinet & Panel wiring as well as terminations Quality Control & Site inspections. Delegation of tasks to be completed by technicians on site. Site Supervision, Technician guidance & Support Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues related to CCTV, Access Control & Fire Systems System testing & commissioning Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details, check sheets, maintenance activities, and service requests. Manage progress reports and project schedules Client Communication & relations, email & telephone Handle on site meetings Time management for tight deadline Requirements: Minimum of 8 years' experience in the electronic security industry Matric PSIRA registered SAQCC registered – Commissioner Level Installation experience Impro Portal – Level 3 or higher Gallagher – Access Technician Milestone – MCIT Avigilon – ACC6 or higher IT Networking experience – understands VLANs, LAN and IP assignments Fire Detection – Ziton or Technoswitch or Vesda Computer Literacy – MS Office Project Management experience (5yrs) or certification Drivers License – own vehicle Note: certification can be expired as current employers tend not to renew certification Apply Now
