Project Management Consulting company requires full-time services of a Project Risk Specialist to take accountability for risk analysis and risk management on projects in an EPCM/construction environment. Excellent career opportunity for a dynamic candidate passionate about risk. Key risk documentation: Ensure a risk management plan is developed and implemented where required; and Updated project risk registers. Compliance: Ensure alignment to client's risk criteria and systems; and Ensure compliance to document control and reporting requirements. Risk training: Develop training material relevant to the requirements of attendees (Responsibility of Corporate Centre risk department ); and Conduct/facilitate training to the project team when necessary. Risk assessments: Ensure all relevant stakeholders attend risk sessions and accurate and adequate preparation for meetings; Accurate account of information is recorded to assist with risk analysis; Conduct/Facilitate project risk assessments; and Ensure the project risk register is relevant and up to date. Risk Reporting: Compile top risks for the project; Monthly risk reporting to the project; and Ensure risk treatments are updated when and where required and confirm that treatments are indeed in place and working to effectiveness declared. RMIS (Risk Management Information System) SAP GRC and other applicable systems: Ensure the RMIS (SAP GRC) contains updated risk information; and Ensure relevant document control system is kept relevant and accurate with risk documents. Meeting attendance: Attend relevant project meetings required to enhance understanding of the projects and associated risks as well as provide risk guidance and feedback. Interface with Contractors: Ensure Contractor risk Specification is adhered to; Ensure and monitor risk submissions from contractors; Provide relevant training to contractors; Analysing contractors' risk registers and providing input and guidance; Ensure contractors are provided with risk training; and Attendance of interface/integration and alignment meetings. Interface with the business: Manage risk relationship between business and projects in terms of risk requirements Grade 12 and relevant qualification in Business/Project Risk Management essential 8 years relevant experience in Project Risk Management 5-8 years risk experience in construction projects Megaproject and/or EPCM experience Must be prepared to travel
