Project Technician - Cape Town City Centre
Design, install, troubleshoot, program, and commission VSD systems on Siemens, ABB, or Danfoss
Design, install, troubleshoot, program, and commission PLC systems
Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and detailed designs on Electrical. Electronic and C&I-related projects
Designing and commissioning of switchboards, motor control centers, and remote IO Panels
Test and commission electrical systems locally and offshore
Compile data packs and technical reports for completed projects and field service-related activities
Support engineering and maintenance departments with training
Implement cost-effective solutions for updating existing applications
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
Professional registration with ECSA advantageous
Extensive experience with AutoCAD Electrical
Experience with commissioning and fault-finding variable speed drives
Experience with installing, servicing, and commissioning ABB and Danfoss VSDs
Experience with ETAP, TIA Portal S7 Simatic Manager
Qualification:
BTech/Ndip in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
