LOCATION: RUSTENBURG, NW Initiation •Set-up the electronic document management system for the management of technical and project management documentation according to the Client's Project Management Guideline. Planning •Ensure the all-project team members always have ready access to the latest revision of project-controlled documents. •Adhere to drawing office standards and procedures •Perform duties and responsibilities as per ISO 9001 – 2000 Doc. Ref. SP/DO/01 Executing, Monitoring & Control •Maintain the electronic document management system according to the Client's Project Management Guideline on a continuous bases. •Organise, circulate and store documents. •Manage Squad checking of documents •Maintain a project document control hard copy filing system. •Regularly audit and monitor document control data to ensure the data attributes are being captured correctly to provide effective project reporting and to meet meta data handover requirements. •Interface with all team members on day to day document control issues. •Attend the project kick-off meeting. •Ensure redline drawings are updated correctly and archived correctly •Monitor the effectiveness of project document control standards and procedures and advise the PMO Project Manager about necessary changes to ensure continuous improvement. Handover and Close-out •Assist with Administrative Close-Out documentation for the project. •Contribute to lessons learned. •Complete the filing and archiving of all project documentation in the Project File. Safety, Health, and Environment •Adhere to site specific Safety, Health Environment (SHE) Requirements. Governance • Contribute to project audits with regards to policies, procedures, and systems. • Report on own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Experience Knowledge: •Minimum 5 years experience in design drafting in discipline that is specialised in furnace environment •Working knowledge of programme: ProjectWise ( advantage ) •Experience as document controller in the mining or heavy industry environment. ( advantage ) • Qualifications : • Grade 12 • Design Drafting Qualification • Physical Requirement • Certificate of fitness • SHE Requirement • Site Specific Induction ( if relevant to you. ) • Market Related.
