The Key purpose of this role is to co-ordinate, administrate and implement all trade and consumer promotional activities at a national level. The candidate will oversee and manage brand CPA in accordance to focuses and be a custodian between brands, channels managers and the regional promotions team. This person will work closely with Brand Teams, Regional Promotions Teams and Channel Managers in Trade Marketing to ensure that the execution of trade campaigns is aligned to national standards. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the national trade campaign integrated calendar and drive visibility to relevant stakeholders. CPA Adherence tracking to ensure accountability across multiple stakeholders including training of brand & other stakeholders on process, process steps and consequence management. Capacity planning based on campaigns break dates in trade, including resourcing of region. Monitoring of quality execution in trade as per implementation report. Evaluate performance of promotions including ROI and Brand Trade Investment and the ability to provide insights into better implementation across brand, pack and COT at a national level. Cascade brand/channel plans to the regions and present the plans at Mancom level. Reach selection optimization to ensure campaigns are fit for channel and brand. Profile: Education Relevant B Com Degree. Key Attributes and Competencies: At least 5 years sales or trade marketing experience. Category Management experience would be an added advantage. Trade marketing experience would be an added advantage. Commercial or financial acumen is key experience. Natural cross-functional leader that acts in the interest of the overall business. A self-starter with strong self-management. Able to influence across functional teams. Strong collaboration skills. A bias for action with a high degree of attention to detail with all activities. Ability to work across functions in a matrix style of management in a way that does not compromise key outcomes. Very strong negotiation skills with a high degree of commercial acumen. Both sales and brand marketing competence with a sound understanding of the sales/Trade marketing function with competence in brand marketing. Strong ability to network for the benefit of global brands. Strong project management and coordination skills.
