Public Relations Officer position - West Rand - Tarlton Minimum of 3 years in public relations, communications, or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to promote company brand and initiatives. Write and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials. Maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists. Manage and respond to media inquiries and requests for information. Monitor media coverage and public perception of company. Plan and coordinate events such as product launches, farm tours, and community outreach initiatives. Manage social media presence and engage with online audiences. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Track and analyse the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Represent company at events, trade shows, and community meetings. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging PR strategies. Minimum of 3 years in public relations, communications, or a related field. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of media relations and experience working with press. Familiarity with social media platforms and online communication strategies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
