PURCHASING OFFICER- PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY TITTLE: Sourcing and Contract Specialist SALARY: R55 000negotiable LOCATION: Kempton Park Responsibilities Evaluate supplies on the basis of their price, quality, and speed of delivery of their products and service. Maintain relationships between internal and external stakeholders as well as assisting internal stakeholders with the management of SLAS with standard and audit requirements. Maintain the Supplier Master Data Base and proactively review purchase orders to ensure best practice. Analyse non-contracted and recurring purchases for future opportunities and strategic sourcing agreement. Achieve organisational goals, including budget, saving, and supplier performance measures. Analyse large data sets effectively, identify processing improvement solutions and formulate recommendations. Responsible for contribution and participations of global supplier evaluation process. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or related studies. 3 years experience in contracting and sourcing preferably from a Petrochemical/Chemical Industry. Knowledge and experience is MRP/ERP (SAP preferable)systems, with proficiency in MS Office
