Based in the northern suburbs, this organisation is highly progressive offering generous flexi-time and other benefits. Responsibilities: Participating in an agile development process. Continuous collaboration to improve the product and delivery processes. Assisting in weekly team task prioritization and release planning. Ownership of: The quality of all deliverables produced and delivered. The CI/CD vision and managing a backlog of work to achieve that vision. All automation tests, scripts, builds and pipelines. All test automation frameworks. The effectiveness of internal frameworks, tools and systems used. Regular reporting on all aspects of the automation environment. Line management for the QA team: Performance reviews. Recruitment activities. Defect and support ticket scrubbing. Ensuring that all defects are analysed in order to improve test coverage and automation (RCA). Qualifications: Relevant degree, diploma or certifications. Skills / Experience: 5 years of QA team management experience. 10 years of QA experience with an automation focus. Experience working in an Agile organisation. Jenkins experience is required. Jira experience is required: Board management | Story creation | Defect tracking. Generating filters, dashboards, and reports. Day to day administration of work items and issues. Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software. Track record of delivery in an enterprise software organisation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Travel: Must hold a current valid driver's license and passport. International travel could be required from time to time. Salary Band: Our client is looking to pay up to around R93 000 per month (Before deductions). Depending on qualifications / experience.
