QA/QC ENGINEER-CIVIL(PVSUBSTATION) Northern Cape – De Aar PURPOSE To ensure that all civil aspects of the PV area and substation are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards. RESPONSIBILITIES · Develop, implement, and enforce quality standards and procedures specific to the civil aspects of PV projects. · Review civil designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements. · Inspect and approve civil materials and components, to verify their quality and suitability. · Conduct on-site inspections to verify that civil components are installed correctly and according to design specifications. · Enforce safety protocols to protect workers during civil construction and ensure compliance with civil safety standards. · Oversee and participate in the testing of civil components to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. · Review and maintain comprehensive records of project documentation related to the civil aspects, including, as-built drawings, and others. · Provide training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on civil quality and safety requirements. INTERNAL / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS · Internally with Project, construction team · Externally with Subcontractor Engineer and labors QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering · 5 years of Experience and 3 years regional experience in similar position SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / FEATURES · Experience in quality assurance & pre dispatch inspections of the civil Components. · Lead Auditor Certificate The post QA/QC ENGINEER-CIVIL(PVSUBSTATION appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
