In this position the person is responsible for the support function of the BV QHSSE, Southern Africa by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating activities and process to ensure conformity with agreed requirement. He /she performs the job with the framework of the BV QHSE Management System, which includes the code of Ethics and the BV Group/Africa policy and procedures Overseeing the entire administration process of the QHSSE Southern Africa function Documentation (Control, file and administer) Work Scheduling (for entire team and time management) QHSSE monthly reports consolidation Assist with the QHSSE induction training Arrange district meetings. Taking of minutes of meetings held related to QHSE functions. Act as secretary for district QHSSE function team meetings Maintain all legal and QHSSE function documents. Provide admin support as and when needed to District QHSSE Manager: e.g. typing of reports etc All complaints and compliments are logged, investigated and feedback given. Manage Nexus, Maia and GreenHub and all other related software solution as required by BV Group or Local offices Perform any other reasonable task as assigned by the direct manager Maintaining and updating health and safety records and documentation. Assisting with the development and implementation of QHSSE programs and policies Assisting with the investigation of incidents and accidents Documentation Control and monitor all reports: correspondence and filing for QHSSE function teams according to each task order and information received. Administer all files, documents and records for filling according to each member of the QHSSE function team responsibilities. Obtain and record all QHSE records. Ensure all documentation is accordance with Bureau Veritas requirements, standards and procedures. Conclude and combine SAF monthly reports from South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe . Planning Plan safety walk inspections Ensure scheduling of these visits Ensure reports for sites or audits conducted Ensure actions identified are taken, corrected, and prevented QHSSE duties assist with implementation and maintenance of the QHSE Management System in accordance with SANS, ISO and other requirement identified by the company: liaise with staff and outside organisation in areas concerned with QHSE under direct supervision of the District QHSSE Manager. Supporting the development and delivery of QHSSE training programs Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations related to QHSSE initiatives Ensuring compliance with applicable QHSSE regulations and standards To assist with identification and the correction of any deficiencies in the Management System and to monitor their effectiveness in the light of changing technologies and changes in Legislation.
