Addo/Kirkwood/Coega Area – Eastern Cape: Our client seeks to employ a Quality Assurance Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible to follow up and control agricultural and harvest activities, in order to ensure that the fruit meets industrial quality standards and harvest standards in the expected volume for each plantation age. Monitoring and control of the organic packing reject, identifying whether or not the fruit meets the industrial standards. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Agricultural Diploma/Degree Previous experience in citrus farming Good organisational & interpersonal skills Computer literate Ability to speak Afrikaans Valid drivers license RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Follow-up and control of the daily harvest program by taking samples and updating the kpi board. Carry out random monitoring of the main pests and diseases (Lemon Borer Moth, Botriytis, Bud Mite, Red Scale, Trips, Mealibug). Ensure the completion of the main agricultural tasks, in the correct manner and at the correct time (Pruning, Fertilization, Spraying, Herbicide, Irrigation). Build degradation curves of chemical products in conjunction with the Quality Department. Participate in performance trials of new varieties and chemical products defined by Quality manager and Production manager Participate in data collection to track grower costs in conjunction with management control and the Production Manager.
