Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the Uitenhage team · Compiling of daily, weekly, and monthly reports· Statistical process control· Conduct VDA 6.3 audits· IATF 16949 :2016 Quality management system Audits· Product Audits · Maintaining a system of reporting, monitoring, and control of the various audits findings. · Supplier Audits · Providing formalized quality assurance training to employees as and when required. · Implementing of Product Quality Improvement Projects as assigned by the manager. · Grade 12· Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage· Experience in working with VW as a customer would be an advantage.· Minimum 5 years relevant Quality Assurance experience in the automotive component manufacturing industry is required.· Experience with VDA requirements is essential· SPC experience.· Experience with automotive PPAP· Conversant with the PPAP and APQP processes, including related documentation (FMEA, Control Plan, Flow Charts)· Working knowledge of QMS system standard IATF 16949: 2016· Systems / Process auditor qualifications· Effective writing and reporting skills.
