Responsible for randomly inspecting, incoming goods, work in progress and finish goods, to ensure it meets Engineering and Production standards. Responsible for the monitoring and analysis of process and management KPIs, coordinating activities that aim at the continuous improvement of quality indicators through use of statistical, preventive and problem-solving tools. Provide support for the analysis of non-conformities found in products and processes, investigation of its causes and implementation of possible solutions Duties Inspect production/stores in inspections on raw materials, parts, finished goods, components of products in development, prototypes, samples and pilot lots, recording quality occurrences. Inspect any company Procedures / Processes / Instructions to verify conformance. Record deviations and refer for correction. Interpret drawings and standards to verify operation conformance. Inspect parts or products, according to pre-established standards and procedures, using appropriate instruments. Interpret the specifications: Standards, product drawings, electromechanical specifications, catalogues or other relevant documents for inspections. Compare the results obtained in the inspection with the specification values, taking the decision of acceptance in case of conformity or rejection in case of nonconformity. Prepare inspection reports related to the quality of the parts, finished products or in process, informing the relevant facts detected. Establish contacts with support areas (Sales, Product Engineering, PCP, Purchasing), seeking information on products and materials. Establish contacts with areas of support (Suppliers, Sales, PCP, Product Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering), seeking information on products and materials and aiming at together analyses of non-conformities regarding the quality of parts, components and products. Periodically audit critical plant processes, indicating faults and possible solutions or improvements. Organize and maintain section quality records. Monitor quality KPIs monthly and act on undesirable results. Assist Company and Quality team to maintain ISO 9001 Quality System. Support quality improvement projects through the ISO 9001 Quality System. Develop and assist the preparation of quality diagnostics and participate in the elaboration of Corrective Action Plans in the Manufacturing departments. Support analysis and problem solving through teamwork and use of corrective action tools. Support statistical studies on critical product characteristics. To know deeply the activities of inspection, monitoring and guiding, using the quality KPIs (internal and site), aiming to helping and encourage operators in the correct fulfilment of their activities, to maintain it and improve it. Periodically analyse the history of quality records and customer complaints, in order to prevent recurrences, in addition to coordinating data collection and defect reports. Assist in the elaboration and maintenance of updated inspection plans for products and for the evaluation of self-control. Evaluate the need for rejection and the possibility of recovery or use in the state of raw materials, parts or products outside the specifications, considering the scope of the problem. Perform other tasks, related to those described above, according to the request of the superiors. Matric Diploma in or working towards a diploma in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering or Industrial engineering, or other relevant Quality qualification. Must be diligent, excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of procedures, identification of problems, root cause analysis and solving problems with departments. Read and interpret Drawings. Computer literate – Strong Excel Skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word. Strong person who can stand his/ her ground to ensure quality. Previous experience of Quality/ ISO 9000 and 9001 would be an advantage. Market Related- Managerial level
