LOCATION: RUSTENBURG, NW As a Quality Inspector , your mission is to ensure the successful execution of various projects within our plant project portfolio by upholding the organization's uncompromising standards of quality. With a strong emphasis on conducting thorough inspections, your role encompasses seamless coordination of QA activities, effective communication with project teams, and the Plant QA/QC Coordinator. Auditing: •Conduct rigorous audits at vendors/suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards. •Oversee and conduct quality inspection activities, collaborating with consultants, project teams on-site, testing consultants, and regulatory inspection services. •Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between project teams and the QA Co-Ordinator Compliance and Adherence: •Ensure strict compliance with the requirements outlined in the AAP Quality Management Standard. •Monitor and enforce adherence to the AAP-approved Quality Management Plan (QMP) among relevant stakeholders. Information Reporting: •Provide regular progress updates and pertinent information to the AAP QA Co-ordinator •Play a key role in the submission and approval process of Quality Control Plans (QCP) in collaboration with stakeholders. •Deliver regular updates to all stakeholders regarding the progress and any issues related to the quality of their respective projects Oversight on Project Quality Matters: •Maintain vigilant oversight on all project-related quality matters. •Establish, implement, and coordinate all Quality Assurance Procedures for the assigned projects. Reporting and Communication: •Generate and submit detailed weekly QA project reports to the AAP QA Co-ordinator •Maintain strong communication channels with all relevant stakeholders. •Generate comprehensive audit reports Non-Conformance Resolution: •Facilitate the approval process of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) closeouts in collaboration with stakeholders. • Ensure the implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Quality Kick-off Meetings: •Ensure the organization of quality kick-off meetings by the appointed 3rd party for all scopes of work involving relevant stakeholders. Prioritization of Quality: •Emphasize and ensure that quality takes precedence over the schedule in all project activities. •Assume the role of quality custodian Qualifications: SAIW Level 2 or an approved equivalent (Mechanical, Piping & Civils) Experience: 5 years' experience as an Inspector Multi-disciplinary knowledge on different manufacturing/installation processes including mechanical and civils ( E,C&I- bonus) Knowledge & Skills Required: Communication skills Projects Environment Skills Excellent reporting and communication skills ISO 9001 Communication skills Problem solving Conflict Management Organisational skills Computer Literacy: MS Office: (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) MS Projects, SAP Market Related.
