Quality Manager (Steel Industry) - Kempton Park

• A minimum of 10 years experience as a quality manager in a mid-size business with 6 years at Artisan level
• Qualifications in either Boilermaker Trade test Certificate, Level 2 Welding inspectors (SAIW), MT & PT level 2, Galvanizing Inspectors level 2, RT interpretation (SAIW), ASME / NBIC Codes of construction (SAIW) or NACE Level 1

• Very good computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Browser) and STRUMIS
• Survey analysis to establish the internal and external company performance based on customer feedback
• Participate in weekly production Meeting
• Lead daily check in with inspectors
• Lead quality department meetings weekly
• Participate in monthly Workshop department meeting
• Experience in implementation of ISO9001-2015 & ISO 4500 and EN 3834
• Knowledge codes and standards in SANS 2001; CS- 2017, AWS D1.1;2015, ASME IX
• Training in SHE
• Ability to coach team members in-house and in-field
• Excellent understanding of key measurements and metrics which drive OTIFAS
• Ability to analyze production and make improvements
