Description REQUIREMENTS Diploma or Degree in Food Science or equivalent At least 5 years of experience in a similar role Experience in an FMCG environment will be advantageous In-depth knowledge of applicable legislation (FSC 22000, HACCP, TACCP and VACCP) Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Ability to lead and drive change Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Quality and Food Safety Management system compliant in line with the Company's policy and applicable legislature Drive the implementation of the Group's Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures Manage Food Safety (Food Safety Induction, Food Safety Culture, Toolbox, etc.) Manage compliance certification, and religious certification programme by facilitating audits and completing registration documents Keep current with the latest developments (regulations) and technology where applicable, through investigation, training and communication Assist in identifying, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Quality and Food Safety systems for continuous improvements through self-assessment and or auditing Conduct and maintain scheduled internal audits schedules; Ensure that internal and external audit observations/ findings are closed promptly Responsible for NCR/ FSI/ RCA/ Concessions tracking and planning of internal audits, actions and follow-up including trend analysis and root cause determination Manage customer and consumer complaints system and provide feedback, including the investigation and recording of trends for further action Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, as well as the preparation of statistical reports for management to review Drive implementation of HACCP and PRs Monitor supplier management and manage document control and record-keeping Develop, review and monitor training of the sites on quality and food safety systems in conjunction with the training department Undertaking 'active' monitoring and auditing of the plant, providing feedback via the company's reporting system Manage laundry, pest control, hygiene, cleaning, and sanitation programs
