Duties and Responsibilities:

• Being 50% of the time on the farms and in the packhouses and the other 50% of the time in the office
• Quality control on the farms and in the packhouses
• Maintaining the database with Quality Documents and Due Diligence
• Full quality control management on pre-shipment inspections and arrival reports including third party claims and logging all data onto ERP system
• QMS Internal auditing and general liaison with QMS principles
• Managing claims with customers and farms
• Management of recoveries

Requirements:

• Looking for a dynamic person, who:
• Speaks English and Afrikaans
• BSC Degree at University in the field of technical agriculture or BCOM degree
• Experience in the packhouse and in the field of fruit production will be beneficial
• Has affinity in the world of fruit
• Brings enthusiasm and team spirit to the business
• Has knowledge of working with Microsoft Word and EXCEL, experience with an ERP-system will be beneficial
• Willingness to travel (Crucial)
• Valid drivers license (Crucial)
