Company DescriptionConstructionRole DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor located in Alberton. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing financial aspects of construction projects, including preparing budgets, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project cash flows. The Quantity Surveyor will also prepare tender documents, standard forms of contract, and administer contracts, as well as consult with clients, contractors, and consultants on all financial aspects of projects.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldRegistration with SACQSP a must5 years of experience as a Quantity SurveyorExcellent knowledge of cost management, financial accounting, and project managementFamiliarity with construction contracts such as FIDIC, NEC, and JBCCAbility to develop and analyze project budgets, estimates, and forecastsExperience in managing project cash flows and financial reporting processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in using computer-aided design (CAD) and quantity surveying software, such as Bluebeam, WinQS, and DimXKnowledge of statutory regulations pertaining to construction projects such as OSH, COIDA, and SANS codesemail CV and Certificates to adminimalux.co.za by 08/03/2024
