Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in the solar industry. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling costs for various solar construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and controlling costs within solar projects, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for solar projects Analyze project specifications and develop cost-effective solutions Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered. Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction phase Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to implement measures that control costs Analyze and compare costs in detail to identify opportunities for cost reduction Create regular progress reports and financial forecasts for senior management Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the most favorable prices and terms Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with specific experience in the solar industry Proven track record of successfully managing costs within solar projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in budgeting and cost control software like CCS Candy Proficient in the use of MS Office and MS Projects Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Professional certification or registration as a Quantity Surveyor is preferred Benefits Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
