Reference: CPT003697-Jol-1 Are you a qualified Quantity Surveyor with at least 1 year experience, available to work on a fixed term contract? Do you have knowledge or experience in managing project budgets and procurement within the construction industry? Our client based in the Paarden Eiland area, requires the expertise of a methodical individual who can operate within a pressurised environment while exceeding the expectations of the companies International Clients. Core hours are 7am to 3pm and thereafter overtime applies, based on the projects. REQUIREMENTS Matric, Minimum of a Diploma in one of the following: Building Estimating Quantity Surveying Construction Procurement Construction Finance Engineering (Mechanical, Structural or Civil) Construction Supervision/Management Engineering Estimation Minimum 3 years in the Construction/Engineering Industry Competency in Software: MS Office 2013 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) - Required WinQS – advantageous, not a requirement DimX – advantageous, not a requirement SAP - advantageous, not a requirement Experience with accounting software (SAP, Pastel, Sage, etc.) - advantageous, not a requirement Estimating software- advantageous, not a requirement Adobe- advantageous, not a requirement Attention to detail Deadline-driven Willingness to learn and build on existing experience Normal Working Hours: 07:00 – 15:00 (approx. 90 days per year) Project Specific Working Hours: 07:00 – 19:00 including weekends and public holidays (projects range from 40 to 90 days) x 3 per year DUTIES Assist in Final Account verification (check contractor quotations against contract rates) Set up enquiry BOQ's from a scope of work Adjudication of tenders Prepare Contract BOQ's Administer Contract Variation Orders Manage enquiries for tender purposes Conduct site measures Process interim payments Prepare engineering estimates Perform cost reporting Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience (Including overtime during projects) Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
