Responsibilities and Duties:
The Quantity Surveyor will:

Prepare cost analysis based on architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labor involved.
Prepare cost plans to facilitate practical designs for construction projects, liaising with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and negotiate contracts where appropriate.
Control all project stages within predetermined budgets and expenditures.
Monitor project progress, measure and value variations in the work, and ensure commercial controls are in place.
Provide commercial and contractual advice to project staff, review and draft correspondence.
Certify subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
Collaborate with project staff and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Produce accurate formal reports within specified business timelines.
Supply relevant information to senior management for review as required.
Assist with other duties as necessary.

Dependability, maturity, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments with minimal supervision.
