●Canvas your area and advertise your services to attract sellers and buyers to make use of you as an agent. ●Subscribe to different newsletters and magazines, attend EAAB and other training courses to keep up to date with property trends and increase your knowledge of the real estate market. ●Create relationships with attorneys, bond originators and contractors that you can refer clients to. ●Compare a property with similar properties that have recently been sold in the area to determine a competitive price ●Promote sales of properties through your website, social media, adverts, show houses and Multi Listing Services. ●Inspect the condition of properties and notify the sellers of maintenance that needs to be done in order to get the best selling price for their property. ●Advise sellers on how to make their property more attractive to prospective buyers. ●Advise buyers and/or sellers on market conditions, prices, finance, legal requirements and other related conditions pertaining to the sale of the property. ●Get a prospective buyer pre-qualified by a bond originator or bank to ensure that they are able to buy and what their financial status qualifies them to purchase a property for. ● Interview clients to determine what kinds of properties they are looking for. ●Generate lists of properties that meet the needs and financial resources of your buyer ●Visit properties to see that they are suitable before taking your client to view it. ●Arrange appointments to show properties to prospective buyers ●Accompany buyers on visits to prospective properties and advise them on the suitability and value of the properties they are viewing. ●Prepare the offer to purchase to conclude the sale ●Present offers to purchase to sellers for consideration ●Arrange meetings between buyers and sellers when details of the sale need to be concluded. ●Ensure that all terms and conditions of the offer to purchase are met before the due dates. ● Assist attorneys to ensure that the buyer and seller sign the transfer documents The post Real estate Agent appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
