- Â Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
- Proven experience in animal rearing, will be a big advantage.
- Strong understanding of animal husbandry principles, nutrition, and health management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to animal welfare, sustainability, and ethical farming practices.
- Valid driverâs license.
- Manage the rearing process for chicks.
- Ensure proper feeding, nutrition, and care for optimal growth and health.
- Maintain accurate records and data on animal health, growth rates, and performance.
- Oversee environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and housing, to provide a conducive rearing environment.
- Train and supervise rearing staff to ensure adherence to protocols and best practices.
- Do small maintenance in and around rearing houses.
