Receptionist - Cape Town City Centre

Responsibilities:
  • Warmly greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as sorting and distributing mail, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining office supplies and inventory.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your role.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an accurate filing system to ensure easy access to documents.
  • Monitor the use of supplies and equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinate reception desk cover during off days and daily break times.
  • Conduct regular checks of the office facility and report any issues to the appropriate department head.
Qualifications and skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management or administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking ability and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
