Reconciliation Specialist - Cape Town City Centre

Location: City Bowl
Position: Reconciliation Administrator
Budget: R300 000 per annum MAX

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about accuracy in financial records? We are looking for a diligent Reconciliation Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial transactions and maintaining our companys financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies between various financial records and accounts.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in our accounting systems.
  • Reporting: Prepare reconciliation reports and present findings to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and auditing requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Reconciliation Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Matric certificate / Diploma in accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
