Recruiter & Administrator - Johannesburg

Job Objective:

Ensure timely recruitment of candidates, ensuring the right fit for the job. Assist in all aspects of the recruitment process, from job description to onboarding. The responsibilities of a recruiter include, but are not limited to, identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through agents and social media, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
  2. Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
  3. Attracting suitable candidates through agencies, online employment forums, social media, etc.
  4. Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
  5. Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills and experience to best suit open positions.
  6. Completing paperwork for new hires.
  7. Onboarding of new staff.
  8. Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  9. Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
  10. Providing recruitment reports to team managers.
  11. Managing onboarding process.
  12. Any other functions deemed fit for position from time to time.

Job Requirements, Work Experience & Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Matric / Relevant Qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Computer Literate
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry (Desired)
  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • A working knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Attention to details.
