Our client in the Civil construction industry is looking for a Construction Site Agent responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Site Management: Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and labourers. Ensure that work progresses according to the project schedule, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of completed work and address any issues or deficiencies promptly. Coordinate with the Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) team to implement corrective actions, as necessary. Resource Management: Manage resources on-site, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and minimize waste. Coordinate deliveries, allocate resources efficiently, and track inventory to prevent delays or shortages. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction team, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders. Communicate project updates, progress reports, and any issues or concerns to the Project Manager and other relevant parties. Facilitate meetings, site visits, and coordination efforts to ensure effective collaboration and resolution of conflicts or challenges. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and site diaries. Document any incidents, accidents, or deviations from the original plans and report them to the Project Manager and appropriate authorities. Assist in preparing documentation for permits, inspections, and compliance requirements as needed. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Construction Site Agent or similar role in the construction industry for not less than 5 years. Thorough understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software like Excell and Microsoft Projects. Highly competitive remuneration based on past experience. Apply Now
