Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company is looking to employ a Compliance Pharmacist in the Western Cape. - To ensure that the Pharmacy complies with all regulations including Good Pharmacy Practice, all regulations relating to Pharmacy such as Code of Conduct, Pharmacy Act 53 of 1974, Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965 - Conduct biweekly inspections in the Warehouse, office departments and document findings - Liaise with departmental managers on findings and ensure clear action plans are completed - Take corrective measures in terms of deficiencies identified during inspections - Provide guidance on adherence and improvements to ensure continual adherence to regulations - Gather all necessary support documentation, including SOP's for Pharmacy inspections - Ensure that all registered staff are listed on the SAPC website - Ensure that all staff working in the Pharmacy are working within scope of their qualification - Ensure that all Registration certificates are filed, updated during staff movement and easily accessible - Keep up to date with all Pharmacy Regulatory matters and changes - Assist with investigation and process improvements with regards to escalated complaints - Occupational Health and Safety - House Keeping audits are documented and deficiencies actioned - SAPC Self Inspections to be completed - Perform any ad-hoc projects which may be necessary for the Pharmacy, including the WC CDU and the Funded Department - BPharm Degree from a registered University - 8 to 10 years experience - Regulatory / Compliance experience an advantage - Previous RP experience an advantage R780,000.00 CTC per annum
