Our client a specialist in the FMCG Industry nationally. They have developed some of South Africa’s favourite home-care and lifestyle brands, Are currently seeking a Dynamic Regional Human Resource Manager to shape the performance and development for all employees by designing and or supporting the company talent frameworks. A successful candidate must have the aptitude to adapt to the culture and align to the vision of the Group Role: Regional Human Resource Manager Location: Gauteng : Pretoria Purpose: The HR Manager will lead all HR Practices and objectives that will provide an employee – oriented high-performance culture emphasizing quality, productivity, goal attainment and empowerment and is responsible for the development of processes and reporting metrics that support the achievement of the business goals (Group) and own area of responsibility. In addition, the role coordinates Human Resource Management activities in the various operations. (NSPU Unsgaard, Green Tissue, Herbal & Homeopathic, LMP Warehouse and Regional Marketing & Sales). Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Commerce or Behavioural Sciences Min 5 years experience within the Manufacturing Sector preferably FMCG. Min 3 years in a relevant management role Proven work experience as a Regional HR Manager MS Office, Advanced MS Excel Sound knowledge of all HR processes (e.g. recruitment, talent management etc.) Understanding of full cycle recruiting Good knowledge of local labour regulations Hands-on experience with payroll systems and Human Resources Management Software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Leadership abilities Sound knowledge of all local labour laws Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills Exceptional leadership and organizational skills Valid Code 08 Drivers Licence Own reliable vehicle Experience: Above average ability to negotiate and gain cooperation from colleagues, staff and stakeholders (internal & external) Problem solve, plan and prioritise tasks Lead, mentor, motivate, resolve conflicts and develop staff Provide detailed written reports to accompany financial results and policy documentation Use performance standards and measurements systems to review own work and that of the team Recognise and deal effectively with the sensitive issues and sometimes macro-economic and political issues Operate with substantial autonomy with minimal professional direction Develop effective relationships with executive management Administer finances, forecast budgets and monitor financial procedures Apply accounting theory to computerised accounting systems Assess, recommend and implement financial software Communicate effectively in written and oral form Prioritization and time management Interpersonal relationships, discretion and confidentiality Knowledge of employment law. Report writing, Advanced Excel, Word and Power Point Ability to communicate at all levels Experience of using HR Information Systems Ability to innovate and to create and implement continuous improvement initiatives Experience of designing and writing HR Policies, procedures, offers and contracts of employment Understanding of the Payroll process and procedures Ability to influence all stakeholders, including Executive Management Adaptability and flexibility – willing to work on a variety of projects and perform multiple roles and or tasks Above average ability to negotiate and gain cooperation from colleagues, staff and stakeholders (internal & external) Problem solve, plan and prioritise tasks Lead, mentor, motivate, resolve conflicts and develop staff Provide detailed written reports to accompany financial results and policy documentation Use performance standards and measurements systems to review own work and that of the team Recognise and deal effectively with the sensitive issues and sometimes macro-economic and political issues Operate with substantial autonomy with minimal professional direction Develop effective relationships with executive management Communicate effectively in written and oral form Skills: Human Resources Experience Recruitment Compliance Facilitation Employee Relations Management Performance Management Customer Retention Collaboration HR Policies Role and Responsibilities: Identifying the current as well as the future hiring needs of our company Setting performance standards for evaluating local HR teams Designing compensation and benefits packages for the employees Defining onboarding procedures aligned with our company’s culture Helping us in our employer branding efforts (e.g. organizing recruitment events) Developing training plans for employees and department Preparing and managing the budget of the division Tracking KPIs and also suggesting improvements Designing as well as implementing company policies in compliance with our long-term business goals Ensuring our HR processes adhere to all legal standards Supporting managers and staff on daily issues Coordinating with National HR Manager for crafting organization-wide objectives and strategies Strategy Development and Implementation Policy Development and Tactical Plans Communication change management and employee engagement Driving productivity and high performance Capability Development and Talent Management Employee Relations and Litigation General Management P ersonal Development and Relevance Attendance of conferences, seminars, workshops and other training activities to maintain an awareness of trends and issues relating to Human Resources and Culture Management.
