Regional Sales Agent - Mpumalanga

REGIONAL SALES AGENT VACANCY: MPUMULANGA

The Regional Sales Agent will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding market share within the region. The candidate will be responsible for maximising sales baskets and building relationships with customers and partners.

Key areas of responsibility for the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Work to achieve set sales targets, profitability, and objectives.
  • Frequent travel throughout the region.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, assess competitive threats, and understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, partners within the region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse sales data, and prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall company strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and ethical standards, as well as relevant regulations and laws governing sales activities within the region.
  • Manage customer complaints (investigation and resolution), credits and queries.
  • Assist with collection of amounts due from customers when necessary.


Typical traits of this individual will be:

  • Proven track record of success in sales with at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in managing key customer accounts and developing long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Ability to work within a high-performance culture organisation.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.

Preference will be given to employees with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing or a similar trade
  • Experience in cementitious product
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales role
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
