Reference: DBN003491-SS-2A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Sales Manager to manage their Respiratory and Dermatology team in Gauteng. Job Purpose Responsible for planning, implementing, directing sales activities in order to achieve the sales objectives of the company within the region. Assume responsibility and leadership for the Regional team. Implement the sales strategy. Seek opportunities for growth in the region. Use established relationships and build new networks to grow the company’s presence in the region Key Job Functions: Sales Management Customer/Client Relationships Budget Management Strategic Input Leadership Appoint, retain, coach, manage and inspire sales representatives to achieve sales targets Coordinate, manage and oversee divisional sales budget with monthly forecasting Setting individual sales targets in accordance to the divisional budget for each respective SRA Monthly/weekly sales reports and updates to both senior management and sales reps to track sales performance Strategic planning to realign sales focus continuously to ensure sales targets are met Streamlining and maintaining the sales function, including spending time in field with Consumer/ Pharmacy Representative and Dr Detailing representative, ensuring proactive execution of identified strategies for each SRA Oversee and manage all infield implementation of POS/ marketing messages in accordance with the marketing/ sales strategy of the company Key account Management: Visiting and liaising with identified target clients that are crucial to the performance of the Company, including regular visits to Wholesalers & Buying groups to ensure sustained and profitable relationships Initiating and implementation of a CRM (electronic customer relation management system) Liaising with the National Sales Manager with respect to the effective exploitation of the various business opportunities in designated areas Responsible for developing, compiling and maintaining company client database Submit regular reports to National Sales Manager (Field and sales report) Monitor and control sales representative's expenses Monitor and control sales representative's incentives - being implemented by marketing Manage both divisions - Pharmacy and Dr Detailing representatives Travel to Coastal areas monthly - for field working days with representatives Compiling and analyzing sales figures Monitoring Weekly Repwise planning Monitoring Leave and other activities Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements Competency, Experience & Skills RequiredQualifications: Matric / Grade 12 Tertiary Qualifications in Science/ Sales and Marketing or business Minimum Experience required: Minimum 3- 5 years Pharmaceutical experience in Respiratory/Dermatology space Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle Knowledge: Sales experience Pharmacy and Dr Detailing Product Knowledge Human Resource Principle and Practices Skills Required: Planning and organising Communication Skills Conflict Management Ability to motivate others Customer service skills Negotiating and listening skills Relationship Building Ability to persuade and influence other through strong interpersonal and communication skills Excel skills, working with SSD & Impact RX reports Behaviour: Ability to work Independently Professional outlook and appearance Respectable behaviour High level of Self-motivation Honesty and integrity Decision making Results orientated Team leadership Candidates that meet the criteria may submit their applications via this portal or via vacancy link on www.mnarecruitment.comShould you receive no feedback within 7 days, please accept your application as unsuccessful.
