Role Purpose: The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is tasked with assisting in implementing and maintaining processes and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant acts and regulations. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, this role plays a pivotal part in providing assurance on regulatory compliance within the organization and the broader ecosystem. The Ideal Candidate must have experience in FAIS and Long Term insurance and Experience in a Unit Trust Manco and/or LISP. Responsibilities: Maintains Compliance Requirement Universe, ensuring accuracy. Reviews policies for compliance and aids in Compliance Monitoring Plans. Manages breach processes for timely resolution. Facilitates reporting to stakeholders. Provides compliance support and training. Offers guidance on compliance matters. Submits statutory applications to regulators. Supports compliance in business projects. Coaches junior staff and promotes knowledge sharing. Requirements: A relevant degree (Law degree preferred) Relevant Compliance qualifications and certifications (experience as appointed compliance officer for CAT III license preferred) Strong preference for experience in FAIS, LTIA, PPR's and / or CISCA. Exposure to FICA, PFA, POPIA beneficial. At least 5 – 8 years relevant compliance/risk management experience in an Asset Manager / CIS Manco / LISP environment (working knowledge). 45000.00 - 50000.00 - Monthly
