Description To provide a service function to the production and maintenance function, purposed to employ sound reliability engineering principles and methods, to reduce the risk of poor performance and reliability to production plans and budgets caused by equipment reliability and to drive the implementation of the asset management framework and development of appropriatemaintenance strategies for individual equipment, which include but not limited to: Task and Responsibility: Continuous improvement Budget and cost control Implement change initiatives Asset management Condition monitoring Analyses Life cycle management Risk management Audit and over inspection Optimization People management Stakeholder relations Contractor Management Support Function SHERQ adherence and compliance Work ethics Minimum Requirements Grade 12. B Engineering / B Tech degree in Mechanical /Electrical. Diploma (3 years) in Mechanical / Electrical (Recommended). Certificate: GCC (Mines and Works) (Recommended). Diploma/Degree in Project Management in Construction / Heavy industrial / Mining (Recommended) EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 (five) years operational experience in the maintenance of equipment (Mining/ Plant or Industrial environment). Minimum of 4 (four) years Management experience in asset management and reliability. Diagnostic (Quality). Minimum of 2 (two) years operational RCM and RCA facilitation experience. Minimum of 2 (two) years operational experience within MHSA and the OHS acts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Relevant Legislation knowledge. Mine Health and Safety act and other applicable legislation. Diagnostic (Quality). Root cause analysis, first line maintenance, problem solving, trend analysis. Risk Assessments; Working knowledge of all SHERQ, related policies, procedures and COP's. Project management skills Conceptual thinking Innovative skills. Learning orientation Adaptability. Stress tolerant Quality orientation Specialist Knowledge. Problem solving and analysis Creative and innovation Commercial awareness Persuasiveness. Computer literacy.
